Greetings, friend! My name is Benjamin Leaf. Welcome to my personal pocket of the internet.

I care deeply about the craft of storytelling, but don't take myself too seriously. I like to make entertainment that is medicinal – that provides joy or insight. And sometimes both.

Awareness is paramount for me, in art and life. I strive to explore other points of view thoughtfully as an actor, creator, or host. My collaborators have variously described my work on characters as emotionally transparent, intellectually drawn, and suffused with a curiosity and knowing.

I love new works, pieces that challenge the audience, and classics with a new angle. I’m not afraid to crack open a new character with no reference but the text, so I’ve done a lot of developmental work. I champion Asian-American, LGBTQ stories, and any artist bravely trying something new!

I can’t wait to work with you in curiosity and hope.
